Migration utility
Note: The migration utility feature is available only when the NetSuite account associated with v2 and IO versions of the Integration App is the same.
The new migration utility feature in the Salesforce - NetSuite IO Integration App allows you to migrate your settings and mappings from version v2 to IO.
The Migration Utility allows you to:
- Migrate settings and mappings from v2 to the IO version of the Salesforce - NetSuite Integration App in an automated manner.
- Test IO and run v2versions simultaneously on the Integration App.
- Automate the migration process between two versions of the Integration App to a great extent and reduce human error.

What’s enhanced
Map multi-line addresses
We’ve enhanced the Integration App to let you map multi-line Mailing, Billing and Shipping Addresses from NetSuite to Salesforce.
Example
You can now configure NetSuite to store addresses in an additional Address line 3. You can map and sync the Salesforce Billing Address to NetSuite Address lines 1 and 2.
To learn how to map addresses between Salesforce and NetSuite, refer to the article:

Support for Salesforce Professional Edition
Celigo is now Salesforce Professional Edition certified. Our Salesforce - NetSuite IO Integration App is compatible with your Salesforce Professional Edition.
- Notes:
- Salesforce limits API calls to 100,000 per day.
- You will not be able to use templates or custom flows that sync data in real-time on this edition.
Known issues
Salesforce - NetSuite Integration App
“Date” field does not follow the NetSuite date format
If you’ve defined the date format in your NetSuite account, you’ll notice that the Integration App does not apply the format to the synced records.
Workaround:
Change the date in qualification criteria for the record type as per the date format.
Error syncing Contacts without E-mails
You’ll not be able to sync Contacts between NetSuite and Salesforce for Contact records without an E-mail ID. The Integration App will return a “duplicate value found” error message.
Workaround:
- Change the lookup criteria so that the Integration App picks Contacts without an Email ID or;
- Enter a valid Email ID in the contact record.
Migration Utility
Go-Live date follows PST timezone
The Migration Utility picks up the Go-Live date based on the Pacific Standard Time. If you are in a region outside the United States, set the Go-Live date based on Pacific Standard Time.
Workaround:
Set the Go-Live date as per the PST timezone.
Errors due to Invalid record sync
The Migration Utility feature does not check the validity of records while syncing them from the v2 version. The Integration App returns an “ !!Unable to render embedded object: File not found.!!” error.
Mitigation step:
Check the invalid records in v2, these records contain deleted box item data.
Integration App skips syncing SFNSv2 NetSuite ID for an Order
When you parallelly run the “NetSuite Sales Order to Salesforce Order” flow and the Test Mode: Migration Utility skips syncing the SFNSv2 NetSuite ID field for a Salesforce Order record.
Workaround:
At the moment there is no workaround to resolve this issue. However, when you update a record, you’ll be able to view the SFNSv2 ID in your Salesforce Order record.
