CAM (IO) - NetSuite v3.5.0 release notes, August 2020

Information: The release is scheduled for August 10th, 2020.

What’s enhanced

Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite enhancements

Display customer ID on Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite

On the Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite, in the “NetSuite Customer” column, when you search for a customer, along with the customer name, you can now see the customer ID prefixed.

  • If the customer type is “Individual,” on the dashboard you find “<Customer ID> - <Name>”
  • If the customer type is “Company,” on the dashboard you find “<Customer ID> - <Company Name>”

Display “loading” screen on Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite

On the Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite, when you click Load Transactions, you can now see the “loading” screen while the transactions are loading.

As part of this enhancement, the following changes are made to the integration app:

“Auto-refresh” transaction data on Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite

When you try to edit any transaction data on the Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite and click Save, while processing the data, the transactions are auto-refreshed to display the latest changes.

Show only active flow records in the Account/Payment Type drop-down list

In the “Account/Payment Type” drop-down list on the Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite, show only the records for which the flows are enabled in the integration app.

Whenever you disable any flow in the Cash Application Manager integration app, in NetSuite on the “Celigo Cash App Rule List” page, the Inactive checkbox is checked for that flow name.

Show status as “unprocessed” for transactions that are not processed

The transactions that are not processed are now displayed on the Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite with the status as “unprocessed.” These transactions were earlier displayed with the status “Error/Skipped.”

Support to create payments on credit memos

A new Create payment on transactions with unidentified/closed credit memos checkbox is introduced in the “Bank File to NetSuite” flow > Flow Settings > Advanced Settings > Payment Settings

When you check the above checkbox and run the “Bank File to NetSuite” flow, the payment records are created in NetSuite on transactions for which the credit memo is:

  • Unidentified
  • Identified, but the status is “Fully Applied”
  • Closed

Note: You can see the Create payment on transactions with unidentified/closed credit memos checkbox only if the Use Credit Memos checkbox (“Bank File to NetSuite” flow > Flow Settings > File Import) is checked.

Upload and process the same bank transaction file multiple times

A new Allow Duplicates Files checkbox is introduced in the Flow Settings > File Import tab. When you check this checkbox, it allows you to upload and process the same bank transaction file multiple times without modifying any data.

Allow customer names with “comma” in the “Ignore following Customers” setting

The Ignore following Customers setting now allows you to enter NetSuite customer names with a comma.

  • If the NetSuite customer name does not have a comma, in the Ignore following Customers setting, enter the customer name(s) in the comma-separated format.
    Example: Alpha, Beta, Gamma
  • If the NetSuite customer name has a comma,  in the Ignore following Customers setting, enter the customer name(s) within quotation marks.

Example: “Alpha,X12”,”Beta,123”. As per the given example, Alpha,X12 is the customer name.

Improved uninstaller

Prerequisite: To uninstall the integration app, the NetSuite connection should be online.

You can now uninstall the integration app without any errors in the following scenarios:

  • If you refresh the page during uninstallation.
  • If you partially installed the integration app (with or without configuring the connections)
  • If the installation is stuck in between.
  • If the integration app is on the older version.
  • If you have multiple stores configured.
  • If the bundle is removed as part of your NetSuite sandbox account refresh.
  • If your integration app is corrupted.
  • If you manually delete these required records (such as zombie resource or import/ export, rule records in NetSuite, or any import/export in the integration), the integration app can now bypass the strict checks on the existence of these records and can complete the uninstallation.

What’s fixed

“Data loader” integration flows are not scheduled

In the General settings, if you check the Enable Manual Upload Mode checkbox, the integration flows now behaves as a data loader flow instead of a scheduled flow.

Display complete name in the “NetSuite Customer” column

On the Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite, the “NetSuite Customer” column displays the full customer name without trimming. The width of the search results bar is now increased to display long customer names.

Automatically refresh transactions during processing

When you try to edit any transaction data on the Cash Application Manager Dashboard in NetSuite and click Save, while processing the data, the transactions are now auto-refreshed to display the latest changes.
