Set up an on-premise file connection

Create an on-premise file connection to access and retrieve files from your local storage system. Learn more about on-premise agents.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Settings

Instructions

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Agent *

Select the agent to which you're connecting. A single agent can be used by multiple connections.

To connect to an on-premise application, integrator.io requires that an agent be installed on a computer that has network access to the application. Once the agent has been installed, you can simply reference the agent here.

Ping path

Provide a path to perform a ping test. This path is used to test the connection and will not be treated as a base path. The default value, if not provided, will be the agent installation directory.

File size limits

While the Celigo platform generally supports processing extremely large files (such as 200 MB or greater), here are the few exceptions worth noting:

  1. Parsing individual EDI and fixed width files: The maximum limit is 10 MB.

  2. Parsing individual XLSX files: The maximum limit is 100 MB.

  3. Parsing individual XML files: The maximum limit is 100 MB.

  4. Generating individual EDI and fixed width files: The maximum limit is 5 MB.

  5. Generating individual XLSX files: The maximum limit is 100 MB.

  6. Generating individual XML files: The maximum limit is 100 MB.
