Use the Celigo Marketplace to find, preview, and install prebuilt MCP server templates, so you can set up an MCP server without building one from scratch. Templates can include tools, prompts, resources, MCP proxies, capability sets, traffic limits, and which connections require end user authentication.
Prerequisites
- You must be an account owner or administrator. See Manage user roles & permissions to an account.
- Your account must have an MCP account alias. See MCP server overview.
- If the template includes resources, Celigo Storage must be available in your account. Templates containing resources can't be installed in a legacy sandbox.
Find an MCP server template
- Go to Marketplace.
- Under By type, select MCP servers to show MCP server templates. To find a specific template, use Search marketplace.
- Review the available templates. Templates containing an MCP server have the MCP server label.
Preview an MCP server template
Before installing, review the capabilities and connections included in the template. You can view their configuration but can't make changes from the preview.
- Select Preview for the MCP server template you want to review.
- Select Tools, APIs, Prompts, Resources, or Connections to review the included components. Only the tabs relevant to the template appear.
- To open a tool, API, or prompt in view-only mode, select its name or View in the View column. Resources display their file name and description, but you can't open their files from the preview.
- On Connections, review the connections required by the template. You must configure your own connections during installation.
Note: Proxied capabilities, capability sets, and which connections require end user authentication aren't displayed in the preview. MCP proxies appear only through their required connections. You can review these configurations after installation.
Install an MCP server template
- Open the MCP server template and select Preview.
- Select Install now. The installation starts immediately, without a confirmation step.
- If the template contains only prompts, Celigo creates the MCP server and opens the MCP servers list.
- Otherwise, Celigo creates an integration with the same name as the MCP server and opens its setup steps.
- Complete each setup step. For each required connection, create a connection or select an existing one. If you select an existing connection, it must be the same type as the template's connection.
- After completing the final step, Celigo creates the MCP server and opens the MCP servers list.

The integration contains the server's tools and connections. Resource files are copied to the integration's folder in Celigo Storage.
The installed MCP server is turned off by default. If its Relative URI is already in use, Celigo adds a number to make it unique, such as /orders-2.
Note: Each installation creates a new MCP server. You can't install an MCP server template into an existing integration.
After installation
The installed MCP server includes the supported capabilities and settings configured in the template. Depending on the template, these can include tools, prompts, resources, MCP proxies, capability sets, traffic limits, and which connections require end user authentication.
If the template uses Celigo Identity, the installed server retains that authentication method.
Note: Connection credentials, API tokens, end users, groups, roles, access assignments, network policies, request log settings, and Token validation settings aren't included. End users must configure their own connections on the installed server.
Before using the server:
- Review its configuration, including the Relative URI and connections. To identify connections requiring end user authentication, review the End user auth column on Connections.
- If the server includes MCP proxies, review the proxied capabilities before turning on the server. See Understand and add MCP proxies.
- Grant access to the required end users and groups. Capability sets are installed without assignments. See Create and manage capability sets on MCP servers.
- Turn on the MCP server using Off/On in the MCP servers list.
Note: Older templates include only tools and prompts until the publisher updates them.
