Back up an integration with a snapshot

A snapshot is a point-in-time copy of an integration's configuration that you can revert to if something goes wrong. Snapshots are supported for integrations that contain flows, APIs, or both. Take a snapshot before making changes to a production integration, or before handing off to another developer, or any time you require a dependable restoration point.

Note

Integration apps don't have a formal backup feature because they are prebuilt, fully managed integration solutions. Celigo has internal processes to ensure recovery and service continuity. If you run into a related issue, Celigo can help reconstruct the Integration app setup or provide an additional license to clone the Integration app if that's possible.

integrator.io creates snapshots automatically before and after every completed pull, giving you two restore points for every pull revision. You can create additional snapshots manually at any point using the Revisions tab.

All snapshots are saved indefinitely in integrator.io. You can revert to any snapshot you've ever created, regardless of its age. See Revert changes for instructions.

Note

Integrations that contain tools are not supported by ILM. Snapshots, reverts, and pulls are not available for those integrations.

Prerequisites

Create a snapshot

  1. On the Home page, select the integration.

  2. Select the Revisions tab.

  3. Select Create snapshot.

  4. In the Create snapshot pane, enter a description in the Description field.

The snapshot appears in the Revisions list with a Completed status. To roll back to this snapshot later, select Actions (...) on the snapshot row and select Revert to this revision.
