Sync Amazon EU VAT orders with IOSS number as per Amazon latest changes

Amazon introduced new value-added tax (VAT) rules on e-commerce sales that affect the sales of goods to EU consumers through online stores including Amazon from July 1, 2021, in the European Union (EU) region. The selling partners shipping to the EU from non-EU countries must provide an Import One-Stop-Shop (IOSS) Number to their carrier where Amazon has collected the VAT on the sale. To sync the Amazon IOSS number to NetSuite, configure the OrderItem[*].IossNumber mapping on the Amazon (FBA/MFN) Order to NetSuite Order Add flow. For more information, see Sync orders for Amazon EU VAT as per Amazon changes.

Required fields updated for category templates as per Amazon latest expiration policy in the CA and US marketplaces

As per Amazon latest changes to the expiration policy in the CA and US marketplaces, starting July 22, 2021, Amazon is improving the experience for listing new products that have an expiration date or lose effectiveness over time by requiring additional product attributes when the Is_Expiration_Dated_Product (IEDP) attribute is set to True. The Integration App now supports syncing the following attributes as per the Amazon expiration policy:

• is_expiration_dated_product
• product_expiration_type
• fc_shelf_life

The above-mentioned fields are added as required fields for the below product categories and their subcategories:

• Baby
• Beauty
• Computers
• Office

Note: The other applicable product categories are already supporting the above-mentioned required fields. For a few product categories, these fields might be displayed as optional.

Updated product category template as per Amazon latest changes

The Integration App now supports syncing the latest Amazon changes for the Clothing product template in the US and CA marketplaces. You can now map the below new fields added to the Hat sub-category in the NetSuite Item to Amazon Product Add/Update flow’s product mappings:

• Headwear Size System
• Headwear Size Class
• Headwear Size Value
• Headwear Size To Range

“PROTECTIVE_GLOVE” subcategory of the Clothing category is renamed as “protectiveglove” as per Amazon changes

As per Amazon latest changes, the subcategory PROTECTIVE_GLOVE of the Clothing category is renamed as protectiveglove. To sync items specific to this subcategory, use protectiveglove from the Clothing subcategories drop-down menu. It is required that you update the mappings of the PROTECTIVE_GLOVE [Deprecated] category to the newly added protectiveglove category.

Note: Do not use the subcategory with the name PROTECTIVE_GLOVE [Deprecated].
