A. Set up a Shopify connection
Start establishing a connection to Shopify in either of the following ways:
- From the Resources menu, select Connections. Then, click + Create connection at the top right.
– or – - While working in a new or existing integration, you can add an application to a flow simply by clicking Add source or Add destination.
In the resulting Application list, select Shopify.

The Create connection pane opens with required and advanced settings.
B. Edit Shopify application details
At this point, you’re presented with a series of options for providing Shopify authentication.
Name (required): Provide a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection, and a unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting among a list of connections that you’ve created.
Application (required, non-editable): A reminder of the app you’re editing.
Authentication type (required): Select OAuth 2.0 (the basic authentication option is described separately).
Store URL (required): Enter your Shopify subdomain. For example, if https://tchotchkes4pa.myshopify.com is the base URI, then type tchotchkes4pa for this setting.
Version (required): Select the Shopify API version, such as 2022-10.
Configure scopes (required): Scopes are permissions that the Shopify API defines to limit the access to your account. To select the scopes for this connection,
- Click the Configure scopes button.
Important: You must enable Shopify Plus in your Shopify account before you use the Shopify Plus scopes. Your connection to Shopify will fail if you try to add these scopes without enabling them in your store first.
- To access all of the scopes in the API, click the » button.
– or –
Check the scopes you want to add, and click the > button.

C. Edit advanced Shopify settings
Before continuing, you have the opportunity to provide additional configuration information, if needed, for the Shopify connection.

Borrow concurrency from (optional): Select another connection from the list....
Concurrency level (optional): Up to 25 allowed....
D. Sign in to Shopify
Once you have configured the Shopify connection, you have the option to Save & authorize or Cancel your changes.
When you save the connection, Shopify opens in a new window. If you are not already signed in, enter your user name and password. Shopify then gives you the opportunity to review the scopes and update the app to allow the integration.

The Shopify window closes, and the new connection is now successfully added to your account. It will be applied to the current source or destination app, if you created it within a flow. Otherwise, you may proceed to register the connection with an integration.
