Install the Hire to Retire for ADP template

Before you install

You need to have access to an FTP server holding ADP reports or ADP WorkForceNow API and relevant application APIs. Also, ensure to have the right user permissions sets, scopes added at ADP Workforce Now / FTP server, and other applications.

Create your Celigo iPaaS account

Sign up for an integrator.io account with administrative access.

Install the Hire to Retire for ADP template

Step 1: Install the template from the marketplace

  1. Login to integrator.io with admin credentials.
  2. In the left menu, click Marketplace
  3. On the Marketplace page, click ADP Workforce Now.
  4. Find the Hire to Retire for ADP template and click Preview.

  5. Click Install now.

Step 2: Process and application selection

  1. On the Install integration: Hire to Retire for ADP page, next to the Process and application selection step, click Configure.
  2. On the Process and application selection window, check the Onboarding & Offboarding and  Payroll integration with NetSuite check boxes.

  3. In the Choose apps for Onboarding & Offboarding drop-down menu, select the appropriate applications as per your business requirements.
  4. In the Choose connection type for Onboarding & Offboarding, select API or FTP.
  5. Click Submit.

Step 3: Configure ADP connection and configure destination application(s)

  1. Click Configure and choose the ADP connection type, either FTP or API.
  2. If you have already set up a connection FTP or API, select it from the list. Otherwise, click Set up a new connection and provide your account credentials.
    1. To set up an ADP API connection, see Set up a connection for ADP API
    2. To set up an FTP connection, see FTP Connection
  3. Click Save & close to test the connection and return to the template installation. 

    Note: The difference between the export type, FTP, and API, is the data format due to which the filter and import configuration differ.

    The destination applications which are supported by this template are as follows:

    • Okta
    • NetSuite
    • ServiceNow
    • Zendesk
    • GitHub
    • Salesforce
    • Concur Expense
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Litmos
  4. Click Configure and choose the destination application among the 9 applications displayed under the drop-down. 
  5. Click Configure and set up a connection to your destination application(s).
  6. If you have already set up a connection to the application(s), select it from the list. Otherwise, click Set up a new connection and provide your account credentials.

  7. Click Configure scopes and set up scopes as per the requirements.

  8. Click on Save and authorize after configuring the scope. You’ll be redirected to the GitHub login page where you need to enter your credentials.
    • Salesforce: To set up a new connection, see Salesforce connection
    • Concur Expense: To set up a new connection, see Concur connection
    • Microsoft Azure: To set up a connection with Microsoft Azure, see the steps below:
  9. Click on Configure scopes and set up scopes as per the requirements.

  10. Click on Save and authorize after configuring the scope. Now you will be redirected to the Microsoft Azure login page where you need to enter your credentials.
