Resolve missing_param error “The field xxx was not found in the source data”

  1. In the Zendesk Support – NetSuite Integration App Settings, navigate to User sync and check Find NetSuite Contacts in Zendesk using email address.

  2. Then, go to Flows > User Sync and update the Mapping ( Edit mappings ) for email in the following flows:
    • NetSuite Contact to Zendesk User Add
    • NetSuite Contact to Zendesk User Update
    Apply standard mapping, be sure to disable the Immutable (Advanced) option, and then save.

Test these changes by creating or adding a NetSuite contact with the same email address as the Zendesk user, and confirm that duplicate records are not created.

An additional safeguard would involve creating a condition or qualification criteria on the flow to prevent syncing duplicate email addresses.
