Celigo platform 2024.11.1 release notes

What's enhanced

Filter dashboards by application

Narrow down the list of running or completed flows to view only those that involve the applications you care about. This is supported in the Running and Completed flow dashboards. You will find this filter in the Flows view (EDI activity Dashboard) if you enable B2B Manager in your account. For more information, see Explore the Integration Dashboard" and "Understand the Dashboard - EDI Activity.

Recently used applications

Recently used applications are at the top in application drop-down lists, so it’s quick and easy to find your most recently used applications when creating new resources like connections, exports, and imports.

Celigo AI knowledge bot enhancements

We’ve made several updates to improve your experience with the Celigo AI knowledge bot.

Celigo_AI_knowledge_bot_enhancements.jpg
  • You can now make use of the “copy” action when you’d like to take the bot’s response and make use of that data - perhaps for some sample JavaScript.

  • All code blocks also include an “expand” action that opens the code in a larger window to provide for better visibility.

  • We’ve also added a “regenerate” action, which may be useful to ask a question again - perhaps after more context has been established.

  • Finally, we’ve added a “reset conversation” action for when you want to establish a new context.

Job object details available via hooks

Hooks now allow access to the flow runtime “job object”, including job id, start time, step type (export, import, etc), and more. These details are particularly useful when you need to capture such details for tracking and reporting needs.

Expansion of Lambda support

We have expanded our stack support so that you can include languages beyond the existing Node.js, Java, and C#. The new “Other” option permits the use of any other language type in your Lambda function.

File provider connectors: CSV parsing enhancement

Snowflake bulk load does support variant columns. To enable, contact Celigo Support. After the migration is completed in January 2025, this is productized. For more information, see Import data into Snowflake.

Customer-reported bugs

  • IBM AS2 servers responded that Celigo MDN headers were invalid for 3PL requests

  • The dynamic lookup advanced field editor (AFE) incorrectly parsed “Amazon” as a handlebars statement instead of a string

What's new

Advanced Field Editor (AFE): Improved handlebars editing experience

We've improved the process for inserting fields and helpers in the middle of handlebars expressions. Now, when you select a field or helper from the drop-down list, the existing text will be preserved and shifted to the right, rather than being overwritten. This update ensures a smoother, more intuitive experience, allowing you to build expressions faster without the need for manual corrections.

You’ll also see automatic closing brackets when needed, saving you extra steps. This enhancement helps minimize errors and keeps your workflow efficient.

AFE_after_example.gif

Drag and drop for branched flows

You can now drag and drop flow steps within branched flows, just like in linear flows. This update lets you easily rearrange bubbles without the need to delete and reconfigure them. All associated tools, such as mappings and filters, move along with the bubble, preserving your configurations.

Additionally, if you move a step out of a branch, the branch itself remains intact, maintaining its rules and logic. This enhancement reduces manual work, saves time, and simplifies the process of organizing complex flows.

Branching_drag_and_drop.gif

Access execution details for enhanced analytics

You can now access key execution information throughout all AFEs in your flows, giving you the ability to enhance data records and improve your tracking capabilities. This new functionality allows for better reporting and analytics by providing insights into flow run details. With this update, you'll have greater visibility into your integration processes, enabling more efficient data analysis and decision-making.

Celigo AI: UX enhancements for resource descriptions and code editors

We’ve made several improvements to the Celigo AI interface to enhance usability:

  • Resource descriptions UX improvements

    • The description icon has been updated across the platform to prevent confusion with drag-and-drop functionality. This ensures a clearer interface, particularly in Flow builder and resource list views.

    • To improve readability, long user descriptions (over 5 lines) will now have a maximum height and a vertical scroll bar. This change keeps descriptions compact and easy to manage, even when they’re detailed.

  • AI editors in code assistants UX improvements

    • The input field for Celigo AI now has a white background to align with the rest of the product, clearly indicating where user input is expected. The response field has been changed to gray to differentiate it.

    • We’ve removed the “?” help icon next to the Celigo AI label, making it easier to focus on the main input field without distractions.

B2B Manager: Dashboard enhancements

We’ve introduced several key improvements to the EDI Dashboard in B2B Manager to enhance usability and data analysis:

  • Search functionality: A search box has been added, allowing you to search records by Document ID, Sender ID, or Receiver ID. Document ID is the default search field.

    Search.png
  • New filters: In addition to FA Status, you can now filter data by Doc Type, Direction, and File Type, with an easy option to clear filters and return to the full dataset.

    Filter.png
  • Increased page size: The default page size has been increased from 50 to 100, reducing the need for excessive navigation across multiple pages.

  • Fixed column headers: Column headers are now fixed, so you can always see which field you are viewing as you scroll through your data.

These updates make it easier to search, filter, and navigate the EDI Dashboard, improving overall efficiency and clarity.

Note

B2B Manager is currently only available in North America, with plans to release in EMEA in the future.

Updated Help Center design

We’re rolling out a new Celigo Help Center theme to improve the navigation and presentation of content. Thanks to the feedback from our customers, it offers several enhancements, including…

  • Tree navigation of the entire Help Center in each article

  • A mini table of contents at the top right

  • Consistency with the Celigo brand refresh

We’re planning additional improvements, and we encourage your feedback and ideas in the Celigo Connective.

What's fixed

  • Errors were not reported at the flow level at the flow dashboard, even though they appeared for individual flow steps in Flow builder

  • Trace keys were missing for export data arrays

  • Stores couldn’t be deleted from the Shopify – NetSuite integration apps

What's new

Select fields to exclude before merging integration changes

When leveraging integration lifecycle management (ILM), you can now merge changes selectively by ignoring specific fields during integration pulls. This means you can promote changes from one integration to another without including environment-specific configurations like file locations. By choosing which fields to exclude, you can avoid conflicts and make sure only the necessary changes are synchronized.

Ignore_fields_during_pull.jpg
Ignore_fields_during_pull_2.jpg

Note

Currently, this feature supports exclusions at the field level. Plans to expand this are targeted for future releases.

Celigo AI: SQL queries for NetSuite JDBC connector, and SOQL queries for Salesforce connector

With Celigo AI enabled, simply type your query in natural language, and it will be converted into SQL or SOQL automatically, making the configuration process easier for users of all skill levels.

This update will save time and simplify the process of writing and understanding queries. Plus, Celigo AI will provide plain English descriptions of existing SQL or SOQL queries, making data management and analysis much more straightforward.

Enhanced typing experience for Windows users
